Came in looking for a digital piano and did a lot of research ahead of time. I knew this location is older/smaller but I was plesantly surprised they had most of the various Yamaha digital piano ranges to try assuming you are looking for a Yamaha piano.Linda did not give any pressure and was not pushy at all. She ended up introducing me to Yamaha silent pianos which I knew nothing about. Checks all my boxes except the price obviously. She told me all the various features etc. but I still like to validate and read online forums before buying. Everything checked out and I worked out my finances and decided to go with a new Yamaha silent piano a few days later!Only comment, expect to pay more to move a piano up a flight of stairs. I was originally told it was going to be around an additional $100 but it turned out to be $200.

Chris is amazing!! He was very professional, honest, knowledgeable, and friendly. He even taught me a few cool things about my piano! He was able to make my horrid piano sound fantastic after 30 years of no tuning! I loved that he invited my five year old to play and check the sound. She loved that he wanted to know her opinion and it made her feel very important! His rates are very reasonable considering the amount of time and work he puts in. I highly recommend Chris for your piano needs!

I was very pleased with Joe's professionalism. He did a good job at tuning my old piano and gave me a few good advice. And finally, he did not mind my big german Shepard who loved him right away and behaved with him. When an animal likes someone that much, that is a good sign!

I just love the way Michael cares for my piano. He rebuilt it fantastically and every time I play on it right after Michael's tuning and voicing it makes me extremely happy! I have hired Andrew consistently for over 10 years - both at recording studios and for work on instruments in my home. He always does an incredible job and provides informative explanations with observational updates about the piano. Every time I enter a Tom Lee I realize I’m invisible as a woman to the musical bros working there, although if I’m with a man they certainly always talk to them. I WAS asked what I was wanting and told them an acoustic with a pickup and they just walked away. That was it. More service than usual though. After speaking to the manager (which I’ve never done in any store in my life until today) on Granville and having them excuse the lack of service and dismiss literally everything I said was even more infuriating. Do yourself a favour and go to Long & McQuade. They’re always helpful no matter how you present and honestly, they have way better products. Women are also musicians, Tommy and if someone is trying to share their experience with you, you can in the very least receive it even if you don’t agree or want to make any changes.
